What's the difference between last year's map, the 911 Map, and the satellite map we just completed?  (Places that sell our map listed at the bottom).

This is a good question and one I get asked a lot.  The map we did last year {we think} is a very useful map.  It has idle zones, parish lines, distance measurements, all of the businesses on the water, and much much more.  The back side has lots of useful information, including telephone numbers of all businesses, gps coordinates, places that sell gas, etc.

We will be designing this map again for 2009.  Contact us NOW if you are interested in advertising.

2008:  This year we also did a Law Enforcement / EMS / River Patrol / Map.
No advertisements; my first ever straight up map.  We are proud to provide this map free of charge to LA Dept of Wildlife & Fisheries,  all 5 parish 911 centers, The Coast Guard, all 5 parish Sheriff Office Water Patrols, Acadian Ambulance, numerous Fire Department first responders, etc.  When you call "911" from a cell phone, they have your gps coordinates with in 200 feet (or less).  Providing them with this map, they know right where you are, even if you don't.  This is especially useful if you break down out on the lake.....at night.  If you are a member of any of the above agencies and have received your copy of this map, please e-mail me at rob@riverratrob.com and we will send it right out (after employment verification has been made).

The new Satellite map we did for 2008 is pretty.  (Kind of like art)  Satellite imagery is looking at things from a completely different perspective.  We list all of the businesses on the water on both maps.  On one side of the satellite map we have a view from west of Baton Rouge to Ocean Springs, MS.    We think you will like it.  The inspiration for doing this kind of map was Hurricane Katrina.  We lost so many great places around Lake Pontchartrain and they are gone forever.  This is a 'snap shot' of our waterways for 2008 around Lake Maurepas.  Can you imagine how it looked 10, 20, or 50 years ago?  Imagine how it will look in another 10 or 20 years?  We grew faster in the last 12 years than the previous 200 years!

If you own a business and would like to sell our maps, please contact us @ rob@riverratrob.com.

If you own a business, have customers coming through your door, and would like to post one of our maps, we'd like to hear from you, too!
rob@riverratrob.com.

Unfortunately, many of the businesses that support us and advertise on our map and sell them, do not post them in their business.  {Not sure why that is}.
If they are listed and you don't see our map, ask them about them.  If you have problems, let us know.  Thanks!

We are a tad bit proud of this new map and would like to see it all over south Louisiana / Mississippi.
